Clear vision is a right, not a privilege. Many in our communities silently struggle with eye conditions they cannot afford to diagnose or treat. ALO’s free eye check-up camps bring qualified ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals directly to the doorstep of those in need. From basic screenings to prescriptions and referrals, we ensure that no one is left in the dark. Because when people can see clearly, they can truly move forward in life.

Clothing is more than fabric — it is dignity. During harsh winters and difficult times, many families lack access to basic warm clothing for themselves and their children. ALO’s cloth distribution drives collect and deliver garments to those who need them most, restoring a sense of worth and warmth to every recipient. Our volunteers personally reach out to underprivileged households and shelters, ensuring that the act of giving is always carried out with respect and compassion.

Hunger should never be anyone’s reality. Yet for many vulnerable families in our communities, putting food on the table every day remains a daily struggle. ALO’s ration distribution programme provides essential food packages — including dry goods, staples, and household necessities — to households facing financial hardship. We work closely with local networks to identify those most in need and ensure timely, dignified delivery. Because a fed family is a family with the strength to rise.

Every child deserves a future, regardless of what their family earns. ALO’s educational support programme reaches out to underprivileged children who are at risk of dropping out or never entering school at all. We provide stationery, books, school bags, uniforms, and financial assistance to ease the burden on struggling families. Our mentors and volunteers also offer academic guidance and motivation, ensuring that no child’s potential goes wasted simply because opportunity did not knock at their door.
